Why was this cut.
It is a very important bit of information. Because Loki is being completely sincere. And it shows that, even though he doesn’t always get along with Thor, and even though he knows he’s jealous (and he’ll be the first to admit that), he always loves Thor.
He always loves his brother.
And people think he’s greedy and power-hungry.
But he’s not. He just wants to be seen on the same level as his brother in the eyes of his father.
